Ayşegül Aykaç – Türkiye
Born in Istanbul (1987), Ayşegül Aykaç began her musical education at the İstanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory as a violin student under Hakan Şensoy and later pursued studies in Musicology and at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Italy.
Since 2007, she has worked on numerous theatre music projects, including the award-winning play “Nihayet Makamı”, which received the Afife Jale Award (2019) for Best Stage Music.
Ayşegül has collaborated with Cavit Murtezaoğlu on voice and breathing techniques, and teaches voice and breath while continuing her work in theatre, film, and music performance.
Her recordings include singles such as “Tek Kapıdan Çıktım”, “Çayeli’nden Öteye”, “İstanbul’dan”, “Kimseye Etmem Şikayet”, “Sorma”, “Yine mi Çiçek”, and “Aldatıldık” – released under Ahenk Müzik.
