Jetmir Mehmedi – North Macedonia

Jetmir Mehmedi completed his studies in Classical Guitar at the Faculty of Musical Arts, “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje under Prof. Darko Bageski, graduating in 2015.

He has participated in numerous international festivals and competitions, including LI GI TA (Liechtenstein), Guitar Art Festival (Belgrade), Zagreb Guitar Fest, Tremolo (Skopje), Peja International Guitar Fest, and Kyustendil Guitar Fest (Bulgaria) — earning awards such as First Prize at Kyustendil Guitar Fest (2014), Second Prize at Ars Kosova (2010), and Third Prize at Tremolo (2011).

His artistic formation was enriched through masterclasses with renowned guitarists like Aniello Desiderio, Petrit Çeku, Gabriel Bianco, Anders Miolin, Giampaolo Bandini, and others, as well as participation in international summer and winter academies across Europe.

Jetmir has given solo recitals in Switzerland, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, and Bulgaria, and has performed with ensembles such as the Guitar Orchestra of the Faculty of Musical Arts, the Porečki Tirando Guitar Orchestra, and the European Summer Music Academy Orchestra.

He currently serves as Guitar Professor at the Music School “Todor Skalovski – Tetoec” in Tetovo.

At Mitrovica Guitar Days 2025, Jetmir Mehmedi will be in a masterclass and serve on the jury, sharing his artistry and experience with young musicians.
